Anyone remember the game X-COM UFO Defense?.They (the guys at steam) don't know a thing about how to setup DOSBox and their DRM restrictions make configuration way harder than it needs to be. I wouldn't ever buy a game from stream especially if it uses DOSBox. I also suggest you postpone the expiration date of this question Also, just a tip. Also, if it is X-Com, is it: UFO: Enemy Unknown or X-COM: Terror from the Deep, X-COM: Apocalypse, X-COM: Interceptor or X-COM: Enforcer? And when you say "game is also automatically running the DosBox as well" do you mean the game is running inside DOSBox or the game runs and then DOSBox launches? Another thing, where is the game installed (Ex: C:\steam\x-com) What operating system do you have (Ex: Windows 7 64-bit) What is your screen's max resolution (Ex: 1600x900) What resolution are you currently using (Ex: 1024x768) Can your computer use OpenGl? When you start the game, does it go to full screen or stay in a window? If the game has a desktop short cut, click properties and tell me the "Target" (ex: "C:\Program Files (x86)\DOSBox-0.74\DOSBox.exe" -conf "C:\Users\SAM\DOSBOXCO\DOOM-0.74.conf") and tell me the "Start In" (Ex: "C:\Program Files (x86)\DOSBox-0.74") Once you answer those questions, I may be able to help you. The game is also automatically running the DosBox asĭo you mean X-Com or Ex-Com? I've never heard of Ex-Com before. Whenever I run it, I can hear the music but the screen is black. I recently got Ex-Com on steam, however I am unable to play it.
